I am happy for Juan,,,but he got lucky, his car was a POS that didn't the power or the forward bite to get it done on performance. Hopefully this will change somethings...like how much Felix and Chip are willing to spend on a cup car. :wink:

Exactly. I'm happy for Juan for getting his first Cup win :smiley: but somehow it just doesn't feel like too big a deal to see him win a NASCAR Cup race unless its on an oval and even he knows it as one of the first things he said after winning the Busch race at Mexico was that he needs to win on an oval. But he definitely drove a good race at Sonoma to come from that far back (32nd) and win.

I loved the fact that he only spun out one guy during the whole race and used his head a lot before blindly divebombing Formula 1 style and wrecking guys out like he was doing for most of the season so far. He's getting there slowly. :thumbsup:
