Well, he WAS somewhat of a legend in the hearts of fans after he scored a feel good underdog win in the truck series exactly six years ago...

However, details about John's death have come about, apparently he was shot in self-defense after breaking into his ex-wife and husband's house with a fucking axe.

Sounds absolutely insane.
That sounds a bit disturbing, to say the least. So the woman who was injured was his ex-wife. Assuming that her new husband wouldn't have shot her, sounds like she was axed by JWT?

Apparently she was accidentally shot by a ricocheting bullet.

I was starting to think maybe new husband was thinking new wife has too much baggage, get rid of both the new wife and her axe wielding ex.
No doubt the ballistics experts will sort it all out as to how accidental any of it was. Home invasions of any degree are a frightening thought though

It gets weirder. Apparently, the house the couple were in belonged to JWT so for all we know, he could've simply just armed himself with whatever he could find after suspecting a break-in. And those two were actually trespassing. In that case, I'm assuming self-defense won't fly for the shooter.

Tate Fogleman, Brandon Brown, Jesse Love, and now Bubba Wallace...

4 races, 4 first time winners. What a magical weekend. We may never see another weekend like this for as long as we live.

Absolutely inexcusable, being a woman doesn't give you an excuse to be extremely negligent and put other drivers safety at risk. She came so close to drilling Johnny Sauter in the drivers door. She has over 200 truck starts and yet drives like it's her first race.

When Larry Gunselman clobbered Dario Franchitti at Talladega in 2008, they banned Gunselman from competing at tracks over 1.5 mile in length. I think they need to do the same with Jennifer Jo.

Probably not gonna happen since she will pull the gender equality card and NASCAR didn't ban the Confederate flags to die on another social justice or whatever hill even though everyone knows Cobb is nothing but a wanker in NASCAR. Unless her driving actually kills someone nothing will happen IMO, they can only prevent her from moving up to Cup but not ban her from the series outright.
