Noose found in Bubba Wallace's garage

Wow... Now this is disgusting, and even worse it has to be someone on a team or media as the garages are fully closed to public at the moment.

Indeed. It's one thing to at least try to hide behind history as an excuse.

Something like this is just... disgusting. Goes well beyond the bounds of racism. Hopefully they find who did it.

Consider: As Ace stated..."Wow... Now this is disgusting, and even worse it has to be someone on a team or media as the garages are fully closed to public at the moment."......

A publicity stunt by NASCAR? :suspicious:

Or, as has 'been done by others.....maybe Wallace himself? :suspicious:

I put nothing past anyone these days. :(

Edit: And.....in this age and day....There's no security cameras in the garages????? I Don't buy it.......

My first thought when I saw the story. These days with wireless wi-fi HD security cameras being so common in houses it is unthinkable that something like a garage full of super valuable kit wouldnt be covered by CCTV or some kind of surveillance system.

Yup. Like I said, I don't buy this at face value.

From a response to my same post on another board:

"Feels like a Jesse Smollett moment to me, but I'll wait for the evidence."

and mine to that:

"'Not accusin' anyone of anything but I do smell a rat...... Same as the peep hole video of the ESPN reporter and the self planted noose on what was it...a dorm room door or sumpin'?....and the cry of rape by the escort at the party... ('don't remember exact facts as I don't get into these things; they're sad....) "

Nascar has cameras everywhere. They'll figure out who this low-life is. Are you seriously suggesting that the fat cats Nascar ordered a noose to be placed inside Bubba's garage stall to accomplish...what exactly? Nascar themselves broke the news.

Seeing as personell that aren't essential to the races aren't allowed in the pit area at the moment, it's either a team member of a Nascar official. Also, this combined with the plane doing a flyover of Talladega with a confederate flag and a "Defund Nascar" banner yesterday just goes to show that large parts of the South is still stuck in that civil war, plantation owner mentality. Inbred hicks.

But apparently hanging up a noose isn't classified as a hate crime in Alabama, following previous, similar cases.

Remember we are talking about the same state here that refused medical treatment to Wendell Scott when he badly broke his leg just because he was black, long time ago I know but some things don’t change, could of been a track worker too apparently.

Also to claim this was some sort of setup is pretty ludicrous, and yes they do have CCTV everywhere in the garage, was one of the first tracks to get it I believe as it was a hotspot for sabotaging of cars back in the days.

Uh, no I'm not. Maybe you didn't read my posts completely......particularly....

Each of the above, and many others, "themselves broke the news." . All of which, got caught in their little scheme's.

What would Nascar stand to gain from such a publicity stunt, other than cementing the image of the sport as a "sport for inbred hicks with a civil war complexion"?

Why would Bubba, seemingly a very reasonable person, risk his entire career over something like this?

A)Why is it ludicrous? We read/hear/see about them all the time. Just as my three examples. Either looking for exposure or money. Nothing new or "ludicrous" about my suggestion at all.

B) Bingo. This should be simple then, no? :)

Publicity, be it good or bad , is better than no publicity. Ask any agent.

Having to ask the questions indicates a closed mind.

I'm a NASCAR fan, but I don't wear blinders; nor do I close my mind to the multitude of possibilities. ;)
