Bottom post of the previous page:

Hendrick Motorsports are likely to renumber the #88 back to one of their traditional car numbers the #5 or #25 for next season. #5 last run in the cup series in 2017 while #25 was last used for a full time season in 2007, although it was used part time by Brad Keselowski for nine races across 2008-09 and five races with Chase Elliott in 2015.

Quite a logistical nightmare to get to Martinsville then.

I assume it's all trucking? At least a 17 hour drive.

What makes it worse is that rain is expected most of today, although they're hoping to get it in late afternoon when it eases, they'll have to drive back to their race shops in North Carolina, offload the Texas car load the Martinsville car then drive there, so even longer then that probably, except for LFR who are based out of Texas.

Remember these races? This is what 2020 Texas II is like...except literally nothing is happening.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

I notice quite a lot of new tracks for the 2021 schedule. Thoughts?

That is Road America. Which is already on the schedule for a while.

I'm pretty sure Antonov meant Elkhart Lake as a new track for Cup as well

will the Nashville Superspeedway really be a Superspeedway? (as in easily flat; possibly restrictor-plated)

No, it's just just a 1.333-mile track with 18-degree banking and drives very much like a narrow version of your standard 1.5-mile cookie cutters.

I guess they put the super speedway in the name just to give them a clear identity separate from the much-more famous and much-more beloved Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, which is a short track.
