Bottom post of the previous page:

Jimmie Johnson and Fernando Alonso will swap cars in Bahrain (one day after the Spaniards final Grand Prix).
This should be quite something. If I'm not mistaken, I believe Sakhir also has something resembling an oval, so they may use that for the NASCAR part.

Probably an idea to get an International Driver's licence / permit. I need one to drive in Spain.... Some States in the US require one.
I just go to my local Roadcare company (Royal Auto Club Victoria, RACV) and get one. You dont need to take a test, or make an appointment, just show your drivers licence and pay the fee. (c $35 here). It is valid for 12 months from the date you get it. You will also need a passport style photo for them to fix to the permit.

Thanks budweiser,

Actually, my licence is a European one. There are probably deals in place recognising either in both Unions.

Some states require you buy an additional permit, but generally speaking you can drive in yankland without having to apply for any additional licenses, also remember the min age to rent a car in some states is 25.

I'd imagine it's probably more difficult to hire a car than it is buy cannabis nowdays.

As for the Dega infield, what do you think happens when young rednecks get together and get very drunk?
I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.

Ryan Blaney and Clint Bowyer on the front row. Martin Truex Jr will start last after an engine change.

Race is to start at 3pm ET, which should be 9pm in Europe, and 7am in Melbourne (for @Everso Biggyballies and @MonteCristo ).

The venue is the Texas Motor Speedway, just north of Dallas.

This is the last race but 2, and there is a possibility for some drivers to already lock them in for the season finale in Florida!

Kevin Harvick WINS in Texas, and secures a spot for the championship decider in Homestead-Miami.

He has been a formideble force all seasons and for plenty of years. I hope he can become world champion in two weeks time.

@MonteCristo is in a different time zone to me.... Queensland is an hour ahead of Melbourne.
Why on earth would bother yo get up only to watch something guaranteed to put me to sleep. I would rather have an uninterrupted sleep.
