lol, you only get half points as the other half of your dominator duo finished fifth, sandwiching three of the four guys I said would make them earn it.
Rumor is that Ryan Blaney might get that ride. While it may seem too soon, it's worth remembering that Kurt went straight from trucks to Cup during his first truck season itself. Carl too pretty much went to Cup from trucks, albeit during his third truck season.
Blaney is a good driver, although i doubt if he can achieve top 15's on a regular base. Still he drove a few nationwide races (14), in which he finished 8 times in the top 10.

Those Kenseth robot commercials from ten years ago would be real appropriate now. We always knew he was great but Gibbs has unleashed his full potential. Impressive how competitive everyone is. Gordon made one mistake on a late pitstop and could never recover from it. Seems like things like that will forever keep him from winning that elusive fifth title. You could recover from those sort of mistakes in the 90s but not today.
5-Hour Energy stays with #15 as main sponsor 2014.
5-Hour Energy
This week the 5-hour ENERGY® team met after the New Hampshire race to discuss our future with Michael Waltrip Racing. While our original plan was to announce the status of our sponsorship at the end of the year, this timeframe left many concerned about their future. There are scores of passionate fans, numerous charitable organizations, and hundreds of hard-working MWR employees and their families who are directly impacted by 5-hour ENERGY’s NASCAR sponsorship.
After several internal discussions and meetings with MWR, we are prepared to announce our decision ahead of schedule. 5-hour ENERGY® will be back as a sponsor of MWR and Clint Bowyer for 2014. We look forward to another great year of competitive racing. Go 15!
