Respect to Tony, Carl and Nascar, that's how a title fight should finish.

Nice one Tony

LOL. I'm some thousands of miles closer to the venue than you but the UK stream clearly is less delayed than the US version :haha:

you must be on a delay, cool to see the first owner/driver to win in something like 20 years :)

In the post race interview Carl didn't look like he'd just lost a championship. Either he's a very cool personality or he doesn't believe he deserved the title.

Tony made something like 78 overtakes to get to the win tonight. You can't say he didn't work for it.

What a brilliant season finale that was. Stewart did an amazing job, his drive (s) through the field after his early trouble were awesome stuff to watch, he drove like a man possessed.

When Tony won the first two races of the Chase, I predicted (half arsedly) that he would win every race left.

I was half right.

I voted for Stewart in the poll, so it's nice to see him take the title is such glorious fashion.
Whatever the outcome of the last race had been, at least it was good to have a different driver winning the title again.

When it came down to you gotta win the race to win the Cup, I was like omg no way. Carl's day will come but Stewart deserved it this year.
