Illot cleared to return...

Callum Ilott has been cleared by IndyCar doctors to return to racing at Road America this weekend, after missing Detroit, where Ferruci replaced him at Juncos-Hollinger.

Although his recovery is not fully complete, the risk of aggravating the injury is now significantly reduced..

Simona is still getting up to speed, a tenth off Calderon, and within a second of her teamate Veekay, which after a 7 year break from Indycars isnt too shabby, especially as her brakes caught fire after half a dozen laps which must have curtailed a bit of tracktime. Id love for her to be able to finish somewhere near JJ.

Shame they could sort a test session for Simona ahead of the race. Mighty strong getting that close to the field this fast.
