Bottom post of the previous page:

Scott sent to the back for that move on Veekay. Fair enough too.

I hope this event is a one-and-done. Such a boring track, we don't need it twice a year, barely once.

This.
The problem is The Captain owns the racetrack and the series..... :suspicious:

He still leads mainly thanks to Dixon not fairing too well.
Gap from Palou to O'Ward is now down to 21 points. He had a 51 point lead in the championship going into the race. Dixon is a further 13 points behind in 3rd.

Not an amazng race, but really not that bad.

It was very racey at times. I mean, at one stage there were three pairs of cars dicing into T1 within the same TV shot.

Woohoo too see Will win. Number 40!

Great for the championship that Palou retired. Got nothing against him, but he was a bit too far ahead at this stage. Bad luck though.

Johnson on the lead lap and not last! A great weekend for him.

PS: What a sight to see 28 cars!

Not a huge fan of Will and would like to have seen RoGro grab a win, but 2nd is better than 3rd. Shame he had no push to pass left to help him. :sorrow: He will get a win one day soon. :fingers:
I was hoping that Lundgaard would do better in the race, but at least he kept his nose clean.

I don't think he can complain about that at all.

The longest race he's done to date (unless he's done sportscars at some point?), in a more physical car than he's ever driven before, with new rules (rolling starts and alike) and processes (different pit stops, etc).

I think he can hold his head up high.

He far exceeded my expectations.

Oh I agree and guess that rior to the weekend to have finished the race as he did would have been a great result that I am sure if offered pre the weekend he would have jumped at...... problem is his brilliance in qualy to get 4th sort of triggered my fantasy mode to make or create imossible dreams. :whistling:

Good but not great race. Great result for the championship. But this race needs to be replaced with another track.

As you say John, not the greatest of races (are they running her twice because of COVID?), but a good result. Nice to see Grosjean up there on the podium as well.

I've got no problem with IMS RC being on the calendar (plus IMS oval), but yes, twice is too much!

That said, it's a cheap race for Roger. And at least it's not a back-to-back return (urgh - Detroit).

I wonder if they could change the layout in any way to mix things up a bit. I could deal with that.
