He's gonna be great. He does not have it in his brain that he won't succeed. I've spoken to him a couple of times, and he is relentless. He takes everything with joy. I asked him "is there any advice you want to give to younger kids who want to become racing drivers?" and his respone was "wow! No one has ever asked me that before!" and then gave a long answer how to never leave no stone unturned. Linus understands the long game better than most.

You will hear a lot from him.

I'm happy he went the US route when Europe didn't work out. British F3 champ isn't anything to scoff at, even if it doesn't hold as much weight as it used to. Speaking of which, is Rasmus Lindh racing open wheelers this year?

Spoke to Rasmus last weekend, it didn't sound like Lights is out of the question just yet. He's fit as heck and want to do well at Daytona first of all.

Some extra names added to the 2021 Lights field in recent weeks:
Toby Sowery’s second season of Indy Lights will happen under the tent of the former series champions at Juncos Racing. Having finished third in the 2019 championship with HMD Motorsports, the 24-year-old Briton will partner with 2020 Indy Pro 2000 champion Sting Ray Robb at his new home.

HMD Motorsports has confirmed that David Malukas will be making a return to the Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires field for the 2021 season. The Road to Indy veteran will race in his No. 79 entry alongside the previously confirmed Global Racing Group with HMD Motorsports entry of Benjamin Pedersen.

However, it's not all good news:
Canadian Road To Indy team Exclusive Autosport will not expand into the Indy Lights series in 2021. Despite purchasing two Dallara IL15s to complement its USF2000 and Indy Pro 2000 programs, team owner Michael Duncalfe has paused Exclusive’s plans to race on all three steps of the open-wheel ladder.

Hopefully next year.

In any case, that's 10 cars that'll hopefully compete the entire season - a step up on the 8 in 2019 and 7 in 2018. Fingers crossed one or two more still enter, plus the odd one-off entries here and there.

Not really sure what's happening in Indy Pro 2000/US F2000 though.

Due to technical difficulties at the circuit, they weren't able to use the Push To Pass-Button today.

Yeah, a shame. Solid weekend for Linus and a healthy championship lead. Onwards, hometown hero!

Can't complain about that weekend.

But he's still no Sting Ray Robb :P.

Linus still leads the championship despite finishing down in 9th. Kirkwood wins, Peroni 5th (and SRR 6th)

I haven't seen a start that strung out since Champ Car days :P.

Kirkwood more where I expected him at the start of the year. He didn't enjoy Barber at all.
