So is Devlin DeFransesco.MonteCristo wrote: ↑2 years ago Kirkwood wins the second last race of the year at Mid Ohio.
If he finishes in the top 5 he's in Indycar next year, even if Malukas wins. For at least 3 races, anyway.

Kirkwood short on cash as well? So is Linus, I doubt anyone of them will race indycar fulltime.MonteCristo wrote: ↑2 years agoGet ready for the speeeeed .John wrote: ↑2 years agoSo is Devlin DeFransesco.MonteCristo wrote: ↑2 years ago Kirkwood wins the second last race of the year at Mid Ohio.

Meanwhile, Kirkwood wins! Well, Lundqvist won (his first win since the fifth race!). But Kirkwood wins the title.
I really like him. Hopefully he lands a full time ride next year.
I don't think he has money though. I think he's been largely using the scholarship winnings from the previous year to fund the next season. Sadly he'll be around $4-5m short for a full time ride...
Kirkwood seems well spoken and likeable for a sponsor (and talented). If somebody gives him a punt for a full season next year then he's got a chance at a career in Indycar.John wrote: ↑2 years agoKirkwood short on cash as well? Yeah, he's just one of those that really slipped through the cracks, isn't he? Never really got a proper chance at anything.Everso Biggyballies wrote: ↑2 years agoBeat me to it. Full Indy Lights season for the first time since 2014 for Brabham. (He is 27 now, I keep thinking of him as a kid still.)
Andretti Autosport seem to be the cream team of Indy Lights.... the team which has delivered the past three Indy Lights titles (Pato O’Ward in 2018, Oliver Askew in 2019, and Kyle Kirkwood last year). So as good a place to be as any. Hopefully it will be 4/4
Brabham and Andretti have history, having together won the 2013 Indy Pro 2000 crown.
Bring it on.
TJ Speed is also an Australian team run by Tim Neff. Who knew?In addition to TJ Speed, the Lights grid currently consists of four Andretti Autosport entries, a three-strong HMD Motorsports stable that includes a car co-run with Global Racing Group, Abel Motorsports’ Jacob Abel and the Penske-supported plan for USF2000 team Force Indy to step up and field FRegional Americas star Ernie Francis Jr.
