I'm happy for Pagenaud and disappointed for Power. But the race was dire. Why Indycar continues to start and finish the season with such underwhelming circuits is beyond me. One day they'll stop shooting themselves in the foot.

I dunno, I thought that most races this year has been entertaining. Sonoma, not so much. If Rahal had had a couple more laps of tyre and fuel advantage he might have made it more interesting.

In all, very impressive season by Pagenaud. A real champion. Power a very worthy runner-up too.

Considering the start he had to the season and his illness preseason, Power had a great year taking the fight to Pagenaud.

Still, I find it hard to accept that Montoya is the Penske driver not having his contract renewed while Helio is still occupying a seat.
