Just saw the crash on the news. That was huge. And, oh, I didn't like the commentator's reaction:
The first part was OK, but the last part sounded like a reaction to an arcade game crash. For God's sake, this isn't the 1930's. And thank god Conway didn't hit cockpit first, I dread to think what would have happened. And also, apparently Hunter-Reay ran out of petrol.OH, we've got a crash, a wicked crash

Danica just did the race of her life at Texas. Challenged Briscoe for the win but came home 2nd. Kind of impressive.

I haven't watched much Indycar this season, I must admit that the season hasn't been that interesting. Ganassi and Penske are too dominant, Will Power has won most of the road courses and is therefore handsomely leading the championship despite having been nowhere on the oval races, there is a lot of mediocrity across the field and people like Danica Patrick get way too much air time.
Bring on 2012 when the new rules come out.

Yes and Honda are requesting that other engine manufacturers get involved.

Wow, for next weekend at Chicagoland there are a whopping 29 (!) cars entered! I've never seen so many cars entered for any race, in any series, in any year, Indy aside. Amazing, looking forward to seeing the mayhem when 29 cars take the green flag .
Although Will Power has basically had the championship in the bag for quite a while, I don't mind it because he completely deserves it. He is simply the best on road courses and also quite fast on ovals, although he's had some bad luck there this season. Besides, everytime an outsider (non Penske or Ganassi) pops up up front to spice things up, and with such a big field, you've got someone to cheer for every race.
I've followed almost all races semi-live on YouTube a couple of days after the actual race, since there is a nice guy who puts up full coverage of every race, and thumbs up to IndyCar for not removing it. Very interesting to watch. It's also fun to see how piss poor Milka Duno drives, honestly I'd bet you all hundred dollars that I could driver faster laptimes than she does within one practice session . Whoever runs CITGO must be either blind or stupid, or both.
