Hello All

I have been trying to find a nice friendly forum to discuss F1, I ended up here. I have read some of your threads and you look like nice and friendly people so hopefully we will get along. I have been around F1 forums for a long time (almost 20 years), I was a mod on one for a few years but it closed abruptly and with no warning a while back. Since then I've been drifting trying to find a new 'home'.

I am a woman, but don't let that put you off. I was a huge Jacques Villeneuve fan and since then I've been a Sebastian Vettel fan. I do like some other drivers and I dislike some as well, you can't like everyone can you?

As for your liking of JV I'm a bit old school and am old enough to have witnessed his Father race, and he is the #1 Villeneuve to me. But hey, if we all liked the same things we would hve nothing to discuss, and we welcome and respect all opinions here, even if we dont agree with them.

I started watching F1 in the early to mid 90s, even then only because my then husband (now ex) was into it. I got into it in an 'if you can't beat them, join them' kind of way. So I didn't get to see Gilles racing sadly. I barely got to see Senna race either.
