Miller inks two-year MotoGP deal with KTM. *Confirmed*
Well, Millers future at Ducati has been in doubt all year and rumours of him talking to KTM were true with news of his signing a two-year deal with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. So back to his roots (he was with KTM in Moto3 before jumping straight to MotoGP with Honda.
Now in his 5th season at Ducati it has to be said he never really ticked all the boxes and was at best erratic.
Also confirmed is that he will be temed with Binder. There is yet to be confirmation yet of who will replace Miller at the Ducati Lenovo Team, nor where Oliveira will wind up – although he has confirmed that he has had talks with Gresini
With Aprilia re-signing both Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Viñales, Quartar staying at Yamaha, I guess Mir and Rins are the next to get sorted. Musical chairs.... Someone is going to end up somewhere they would rather not be in the ideal world.

MotoGP title race is basically over at half-distance. Another win for Quartararo and another crash for Bagnaia. Aleix E. is doing a great job for Aprilia but we all know he's punching above his weight this season.
Moto2 & Moto3 can become very exciting though the latter appears to be a GasGas private party between Guevara & Garcia.

Alex Rins is in talks with LCR about replacing Alex Marquez for 2023. I suppose swapping Nakagami for Ogura hinges of how the latter's Moto2 title campaign goes the rest of the season.
Some other tidbits I picked up during the German GP weekend courtesy of the Polish commentators:
- Miguel Oliveira was set to announce he's on the verge of signing with Gresini but Pit Beirer stepped in and threatened to kick him out mid-season due to some crazy KTM internal policy.
- Remy Gardner & Raul Fernandez are sitting ducks and Fernandez didn't even want to be in MotoGP in 2022 as we know. Word is KTM wants to get rid of Gardner any which way.
- Franco Morbidelli has a valid works Yamaha contract for 2023 but the Toprak R. rumours keep swirling as he has another Yamaha test scheduled in the summer and Morbidelli can still be yanked out of the works seat.
- Joan Mir appears to be the natural pick to replace Pol Espargaro at Repsol Honda but things are very quiet for now.

I assume Darryn Binder might be out at RNF no matter what happens in the second half of the season since his contract is only valid until the end of 2022 and we all know how lucky he was to even be here.

Lucio Cecchinello all but confirms Rins will replace A. Marquez for 2023 with the latter heading over to Gresini after Beirer blocked Oliveira's move.
Gresini announces Alex Marquez's signing for MotoGP 2023 *confirmed*
Gresini has confirmed Alex Marquez will join the team in 2023 on a factory-spec Ducati, paving the way for Alex Rins’ LCR move.(No confirmation on Rins yet but said to be imminent)
It has also confirmed Mugello poleman Di Giannantonio’s stay for 2023, the Italian riding a 2022-spec Ducati next year.
Current Gresini rider Enea Bastianini has signed a new factory deal with Ducati for 2023, but it is yet to be decided whether he will join Bagnaia at the factory squad or move to Pramac in place of Jorge Martin should he be promoted.
Oliveira is now likely to join RNF Racing on an Aprilia next year
Joan Mir is set to take Tech 3 KTM-bound Pol Espargaro’s place at the factory HRC team.

Quartararo has managed to take himself and Aleix Esp out of the running at Assen.... Quartar tried to go inside Aleix, but it was ambitious.... they touched (I think Quartar was already down before they touched) and both went into the gravel. They both remounted but Aleix is down in 15th and Quartar is stone dead last. Down to Quartar that one.

And now we have a rain flag although no one is coming in to swap bikes. Its not raining round the entire circuit and doesnt look that wet to be honest.

Great ride from Aleix Espargaro who finished 4th.... including passing both Miller and Brad Binder at the final chicane on the final lap. Great ride and he can only think What if re Quartar.
Bags wins from Bezzechi and Vinales. Championship gap back to 26 poinrs. Game on.

@Everso Biggyballies Did they show Binder's crash during TV coverage? I didn't see it as it basically happened at the same time when Morbidelli crashed?
MotoGP kinda needed a Quartararo DNF but it may only suit the Ducati loyalists
Overall some good results, Sasaki takes maiden Moto3 victory and Bezzecchi on MotoGP podium.
MotoE Race 2 was shambles, twice delayed due to moisture in the air more than rain and then red-flagged after 3 laps after Miquel Pons fell and was hit by Marc Alcoba. Eric Granado won; Maria Herrera finished 8th.
