Bottom post of the previous page:

Deserved it. Sadly it does nothing for Lowe’s who scored no points as a result of Rea’s action

Bautista wins SP race but crashes in Race 2. Van der Mark wins that.

Lowes has had a total disaster of a weekend. He crashed in SP race and again in Race 2 where he got back to finish 2 laps down in 14th place. So that's 2 points in three races while teammate vd Mark scored a win and two 2nd places here.

Superbikes racing at Misano this weekend Race 1 about to start and it’s wet. Rea was in the gravel on his out lap so It’s definitely slippery . Bautista starting 5th

Cracking last lap in race 2 at Misano. An entertaining race. Won’t spoil the result

Forgot to mention sad to read that VdM was not racing this weekend after a horrible high side in p2 on Friday left him in hospital with broken ribs and a fractured wrist which will need surgery :sorrow:

Yeah, Mickeys was terrible. The SSP race was quite good too I thought !

Polish MotoGP commentators mentioned some paddock talk about Tito Rabat joining Kawasaki WSB team next season. Anyone heard something?

Yeah I heard about that too, I believe it was from the commentary team during last weekend’s races. Rabat would replace Haslam.

He needs to start keeping the bike on its wheels and himself in the seat otherwise his great season start will be all for nowt.

Does WSBK also allow traction control now? Haven't watched the series in a while and decided to check out Laguna race 1. Davies seemed to be using rear brakes to get the bike into all sorts of weird angles on corner entry (especially the tight, slow Turn 1 Andretti hairpin) like how Marquez does in MotoGP.

He went from 61 pts ahead to 49 pts behind  Reminds me of that season when Edwards reeled in Bayliss from miles behind as well.

0 pts for Bautista in Laguna Seca. Considering the next three circuits will be new to him, this goose seems cooked. Rea leads by 81 pts now.

2002, I mentioned that year much earlier in this thread. Back then Bayliss looked entirely in control (like Bautista did), but Edwards finished every race bar one (4th) on the podium whereas Bayliss had a couple of off color races including that infamous and amazing race one at Silverstone plus had a DNF at the penultimate round.

Like you said, since leading by 61 points after Jerez the following rounds have been damaging to Bautista’s points score as well as his bike. Rea has yet to fail to score and only finished off the podium three times whereas Bautista has failed to score five times now.
