The concurrently run Lightweight and Ultralightweight races saw an all Irish podium lockout lead by Andy Farrell from James Chawke and David Lumsden while the Ultrlightweight race was won by Darryl Tweed from Daniel Ingham and Alex Sinclair.

But I'm so well chuffed, and still smiling from ear to ear, for my mate Peter Moore finishing 9th (his highest ever MGP finish) in the Lightweight race as well as for my mates John Taubman, Alana Taubman, Liz Taubman and Michael Charnock of the TC Racing team who run and prepped and Peters bike. Oh roll on Friday and race 2 :D

Some good news today
https://www.manxradio.com/news/isle-of-man-news/dan-sayle-awake-and-talking/ wrote: First proper conversation

Local rider Dan Sayle is awake and talking - following his accident at this year's Classic TT.

Sayle was transferred to a hospital in Liverpool for treatment for head, chest and spinal injuries following an incident at Ballaspur during the Lightweight race on Saturday 25 August.

In a post on social media, his loved ones said "Dan is awake, although very drowsy we had our first proper conversation".

Meanwhile, the Manx Grand Prix website has uploaded the MGP races in 1080 resolution.

And then there's this lovely three part video from 2011, onboard with Bruce Anstey called Learning the Course with corner names added as well as timings when Bruce arrives at them.
