Here are a couple pics from Gary Thompson (CoC) from the Mountain section, originally posted on Facebook.
As you can see, you can see not much to nothing at all :haha:

Hopefully conditions improve. Seems the heatwave has missed the IoM, or left early..

We had this last year quite a couple times come race week.
I got up, looked out of the window from my Onchan home and it would be grey in grey in Douglas, the Mountain covered in thick mist but once the marshals shuttle cleared the Mountain mile into Gooseneck the Ramsey bay as well as the North of the Island would bask in sunshine.
Thursday night of practice week, a mate, his son and I went to Creg-ny-Baa to watch the qualifieing from the Creg's balcony. Towards the end of the session, mist would roll in and even before it touched us I could feel it on my fingers going numb.
But it was a lovely scene. The sun set over Douglas bay and it last streams made the budding erica up towards Kate's glowing in the mist. Seldom, I've seen such an almost magic scenery.

That said, there has been a revised schedule posted for tonights qualifieing.
... And as a result, tonight's scheduled timetable will now run tomorrow evening (Tuesday):

18.20 - 19.05 MGP Senior/ MGP Junior/ CTT Lightweight/ CTT Superbike (no newcomers)
19.10 - 19.45 CTT Junior/ CTT Senior/ MGP Lightweight & Ultra Lightweight
19.48 - 20.00 MGP newcomers accompanied by experienced riders

Hopefully the conditions improve, are deemed safe and wishes for all involved to enjoy a safe event free of further fatalities seen this year in other events. :fingers:

Sounds like it is a go tonight although it didn't look good earlier. Sun on both sides of the Island now and the mountain mist seems to be lifting

ManxRadioTT wrote:
UPDATE: An additional qualifying session will now take place on Thursday afternoon. Here's all the details:

This evening’s Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix qualifying session has been called off due to continued low and mist that has covered the course earlier than anticipated.

Tomorrow’s (Wednesday) qualifying programme will now be as follows:

18.00 - Roads close around the course
18.20 - 19.05 MGP Senior/ MGP Junior/ CTT Lightweight/ CTT Superbike (no newcomers)
19.10 - 19.45 CTT Junior/ CTT Senior/ MGP Lightweight & Ultra Lightweight
19.48 - 20.00 MGP newcomers accompanied by experienced riders

In addition, Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson has confirmed that the race organisation will now use the additional qualifying session on the afternoon of Thursday 23rd August, which was provisionally scheduled in the race authorisation. This will mean that there will be two qualifying sessions on Thursday 23rd to ensure that the riders have enough time to practice before the first scheduled race day on Saturday 25thAugust.

Thursday’s qualifying programme will see roads close around the course at 12.30pm with the first qualifying session running from 1pm to 3.55pm. The roads will then open again at 4.30pm around the course and close again at 6pm for the scheduled evening qualifying session.

More bad news.
Perfect conditions around the course but a serious RTC at Guthrie's involving two vehicles delays proceedings.
Any news regarding the situation will be brought to you live on https://www.manxradio.com/radioplayer/am/
As per usual, if anything should go ahead, live timing will be available at http://ttlive.iomtt.com/

Any chance there will be some live streams? Listen to Manx radio is a bit like going to the Night Watch in Amsterdam blindfolded.
