I think it is live.... I was confused by a red flagged session but it seems to be running now (for touring cars atm). Link follows:

English commentary.

Just to remind you what Macau is like on a bike here is a bit of onboard from 2015 and 2016 winner Peter Hickman.

It is quick, with no run offs to talk of, just solid walls. This video shows just how close to those walls they run.

Qualifying 1 for the bikes should be on now but there was a delay in the F3 qualy for barrier repairs and Bike qualy is delayed as a result.
Will definately be running though.... it is a 45 minute session and there are still 2 hours until circuit is opened to the public again. Within half an hour tops I would think until it starts.
Edit: As I posted this the riders are already helmeted and ready to go.... I can hear bike engines running so very soon it should be go. In fact they are lined up at the end of pit lane now!

Same link for the live feed: https://livestream.com/MacauGP-Global/MacauGP2017

For info Macau is the same time zone as Singapore, ie UTC/GMT + 8 hours. ie 8am in the UK is 4pm in Macau.

Everything bar the WTCC seems to be streamed, which is no great loss tbh. They put a placeholder on screen while WTCC is on, I wasn't sure whether my system was going to have a stroke over it but woke up to 12GB's worth of video to watch this morning, just finished running through it

Dont WTCC do their own live stream?

Try https://www.fiawtcc.com/live-streaming/
I think it only operates during sessions,(which is I guess why it is called a live stream. :dunno: )

Irwin takes Provisional pole....

Be Wiser Ducati’s Glenn Irwin bagged provisional pole position ahead of Michael Rutter. Irwin clocked a 2: 24.310 seconds on his final qualifying lap of the session, to lead Rutter by over 1.45 seconds, with Hickman a further half a second back in third.

We get it on Eurosport here, it's already programmed in to record :)

Last year we had blanket coverage on BTSports, but this year nothing apart from F3 highlights on Motors, which is crap especially considering BT and Eurosport have such a big bike following and many of the Brits are racing out there, you'd think they'd take the feed.

Thank you very much for putting this on Chris.
I completely forgot about it until I saw the livestream link popping up in my facebook history Wednesday night. At least I could put the livestream on and listen while dismantling a customers bath and shower tub yesterday morning.
The Ducati seems to go really good, so I'll be looking q2 times now. Hope I do not oversleep the race tomorrow morning as I'll be on fire watch at local theatre tonight.

Just read at UK Clubsport that Glenn Irwin trashed Stuart Eastons lap record with a low 2:23 min time but can't find any official q2 result as of now. I guess there's some sort of protest or technical inspection going on because by now it would have been made official
