I`ll start with the documentary "Mythos TT" shown last night on German station NDR. The docu follows Horst Saiger through this years TT and also shows footage of his near collision with James Cowton.
http://www.ndr.de/fernsehen/sendungen/s ... b7660.html

It is in German but the chat between Horst Saiger and John McGuinness on Paul Shoesmith's fatal shunt is in English.

Perhaps someone of the fileripping front can get it down for us ?

On Google Chrome, hold down Left Shift+Ctrl+I (as in the letter i). A window will open on the right.

Select 'Network' at the top, then 'Media' a little lower down.

Press the Play button on the video and you'll get the link come up in the big empty white box. Right click on the link, click Open In New Tab

Right click within the video, Save As...

Now I'm confused.
I put this in "Downloads", should I have put it here?
We visit the Isle of Man but not for the TT bur rather for a series the call "Real Road Racing"

It is a bit confusing, I must admit.
The FIM calls the MotoGP Championship as well as Superbike Road Racing. But we all know that MotoGP/Superbike has nothing to do with Road Racing these days. So the supporters of races like the Southern 100 or TT in the Isle of Man, the Ulster GP in Northern Ireland or the International Road Racing Championship in Continental Europe call these Real Road Racing because the racing still takes place on real (public) roads rather than racing on the short circuits

British TV producer Greenlight TV tags a couple race reviews as real road racing. That includes the Southern 100, the Northwest 200 and races at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough. These 'real' road race reviews then get usually shown on tv over the winter after they were released on dvd.

There is no series as such but the so called (because sponsored by) Duke Road Race Rankings. Once you enter an Irish or International Road Race enlisted in the Ranking you are eligible for points. At https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duke_Road_Racing_Rankings you can find a little read up on it.
Opposed to the Duke Road Race Rankings there is the International Road Racing Championship here in continental Europe. The IRRC races the 'real' roads at Frohburg in Germany, Chimay in Belgium, Imatra in Finland, Horice in the Czech Republic and Oss as well as Hengelo both in the Netherlands. Its website can be found at http://www.irrc.eu/

Just had this video popping up on bakebook. Superbike races at the Sachsenring back in 1990. Some great footage there :)

The last bike video I posted was well-received so here's another. It's about the three closest finishes in history (that I know of) and the live coverage of each of them.

So, umm, this was a thing once.

It was mad. On many levels.
