1973 Smoke Column Over Zandvoort from Roger Williamson's Accident

Infield view from a distance. Presumably from the cars of either Courage, or Williamson. Click to enlarge:

Various classics there, I think an Opel Manta, Opel Kadett, a VW and a FIAT 124. Could have been present both years.

Courage's fire was more fierce, and covered a larger area, and generated more smoke, so my guess is this is the Williamson.

Agreed. The smoke from Courage 's crash also seemed to be darker than this.
(ic of smoke from Courage accident: http://the-fastlane.co.uk/cpdb/crashpho ... ditid1=307 )

This video of Williamson seems to have a lot of lighter smoke with the dark as with this image.

Slideshow containing a similar angle (15/50), from Courage's aftermath. Note the helicopter which recorded the shaky bird's-eye view b/w footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK16URa7X10

Crowd means GP, general vibe is 1973, no heli, less smoke, all points to Roger Williamson's accident. I consider it solved.
