Can you please update me on what projects are WIP?

Our pioneering project aims to identify and catalogue every crash photo in racing history. We cannot do it alone, so if you have any spare time, view this forum and sign up to help!

So, there's a number of people inputting data into the CPdB right now. I have to say thanks first to @DaleJuniorFan for putting so many hours into his Daytona project. And of course many thanks to @hollie3sa for motorcycle crashes and @Motorsportrace for your continued support particularly on the Indianapolis fatalities.

I'm afraid since this year has been a bit difficult for me, I have lost track on who is working on the database, and which projects are WIP, which are completed.

This is the last update I had on this:-

Jesper Hvid - Crashes at Legion Ascot race track, Le Mans 1923-1989
Motorsportrace - Fatal Indianapolis crashes [COMPLETE], Fatal Formula One crashes [WIP]
PTRACER - Pre-1950 Grand Prix crashes, Nürburgring Crashes
DaleJuniorFan - ARCA crashes [WIP], NASCAR crashes, Daytona crashes
hollie3sa - Fatal Motorcycle Crashes

@PTRACER

The motorcycle fatalities project is done. Except for maybe a few accidents that are spread over the forum and a few that might have been newly discovered in the meantime.
I think @Motorsportrace started an project for Italian crashes.

I think the only project that is constantly being worked on should be @DaleJuniorFan's.

I for my part simply can't find the time at the moment. The photos I've got on my harddrive and not yet posted here are piling up.

Yup, I noticed too. And a few TV/film companies have contacted me now asking if they can use our material in a documentary.

Really? Who are they?

I have finished my Italian fatalities project (unless something got posted after I finished it).

Well, on my Facebook page and group i always use the Cpdb and the forum as a source. It's so well done that it's impossible not to use it :)

I am going to have to step down as far as that project is concerned, I have enough on the to do list already. You're welcome to do that, if you like.

BTW if you're wondering where the recent influx of AAA/USAC/CART/Indycar fatalities is coming from, that's from me.

Independent film makers, usually. Since the information is already available on each entry, it's kind of exasperating to have to answer their stupid questions.

ANYWAY, good work guys, happy new year. Thanks for all who keep putting time and effort into this project! As we say, it's for love, not money. The pleasure of identifying something and then sharing that with the world is enough to keep me going.
