All 52 Indy 500 fatal crashes posted on the forum are already included in the CPdB. That removes a LOT of crashes from the list, but it is still a big project. Who'd like to offer some help?

I "might" give this a go once I've finished my Daytona project (I'm up to 2002 at the moment). I recently posted two non-fatal wrecks just to test the waters: the '66 start crash and the last-lap Hildebrand wreck from 2011. If anyone beats me to it before I wrap things up with Daytona, I won't be offended.

Pretty important project, please go ahead! I'm concentrating on European ones like Spa and Monaco next, while Jesper's taking on vintage American oval stuff and hollie3sa is continuing well with his rally project. That's all that's planned for now.
Incredible job on the Daytona btw, nearly 500 entries for that alone!

Sounds great
Could you please ensure that all photos that are posted at The Fastlane are indexed and put in the CPdB before you do any from your own personal collection/research?
Jesper already has a large amount uploaded to his server and posted here.

Just a note to you all, if there's some problem with anything posted by me/on my webspace, PM me, OK? I don't read many posts anymore, and you may as well ask just me directly, so I can fix whatever, so don't hesitate. I can't let you have access to my webspace account, sorry. But I'll help with anything relevant, tho, so just PM me, even if I am a cantankerous asshole and a tired and senile old man. And thanks for all your work on the CPDB, people, I'm very glad to see that you care. Indy proj. is huge, and deserves to be prioritized.

@DaleJuniorFan has begun work on the Indianapolis crashes for the database and is up to 1929 already. This is going to be one of my favourite projects to learn from, for sure, and historically one of the most important: http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/cpdb/cras ... erby=aYear

Somehow, the "Suggest a correction" link won't work for me, so I'll do it here. Jules Moriceau 1929 shows the vehicle as Amilcar-Ambler SC, I suppose that's a data base error because there is no and never was such thing. Just Amilcar will do nicely.
