Glad you mentioned it.... I thought it might have just been me that thinks it has failed to match the hype. By quite a margin.

Personal recap:

I'd heard of the series via team and driver announcements. While it sounded half interesting, I had really very few expectations at all ahead of it.

Happened to flick on Foxtel by chance, and it was on. Okay, I'll watch this and give it a go...

I watched one race. The cars are... meh. Not bad, not good.

The male/female driver pairings are... meh.

However, the format... Is really, really boring. From what I gathered, it's three cars racing each other. Huge gaps in times. Yawn driver swaps. Get stuck with heaps of shots of cars by themselves, travelling not that greatly fast.

And then half an hour until the next race.

Won't bother again.

Colin's Crest is dead, long live Colin's Crest!

Rally Sweden moves from Torsby/Karlstad in Värmland to Umeå on the Baltic sea coast way up north. Probably a good choice within reality. But it means all the classic locations will be left behind. I'm optimistic though, more wintry rallying is coming.

Just watching the end stages of Rally Belgium which for the day is based in and around the Spa circuit. A bit surreal when you suddenly see a WRC car aear on a bit of the track and then detour around the access roads.
@MonteCristo if bored on channel 507 Foxtel.

Just found a short highlights clip of the Sunday stage using parts of the Spa circuit...... strange to see a WRC going from La Source down through Eau Rouge and then doing a handbrake turn to leave the circuit at Radillon!
