That was weird.... they started behind the SC did a few laps after which the SC pitted and the cars then stopped for a grid start!
They are calling this lap 1 ie not including the laps behind the SC.

They've changed the rules for this year, first time we've seen it in action though.
Jack Doohan went from fifth on the grid to claim his second race win of the season in the British Formula 4 Championship at a damp Snetterton.
The son of five-time 500cc motorcycle world champion, Mick Doohan, took victory in slippery conditions in the final race of the meeting.
He had a 4th in the first race but a poor second race which saw him finish 11th after an incident. He is 4th overall and 2nd rookie in the title race.

Jamie Chadwick has taken her maiden win in the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship at Brands Hatch to become the first woman to take a victory in the series.
A bit fortunate as she finished 2nd on the road, but got the win after race 'winner' Pavan Ravishankar was given a ten-second penalty for a jump-start.
She had taken a podium earlier in the year at the season opener..

Engine fire for Fukuzumi in a spec ladder series. I mean how BAD is this engine anyway? They seem to have raised the bet on Alonso's GP2 engine comments...

Fuoco Disqualified from Monza Feature Race, Boschung Inherits Sprint Race Pole
Antonio Fuoco has been disqualified from the Feature race at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza on Saturday after stewards deemed that he had used a non-compliant throttle map at the start.
The Charouz Racing System driver had already been handed a five-second penalty post-race for track limit offences, but his eighth-place finish has now been removed completely from the record books as a result of the rule break.
The illegal throttle map was deemed to be a breach of Technical Bulletin BT 18 008, and as a result he was disqualified from the final result, although he will be allowed to start the Sprint race on Sunday from the back of the grid.
