Bottom post of the previous page:

Skip the intro on the Invocator song, and there you are. Down to the "crung-crung-whee"... I sold this disc to a collector a while back, and kept the Demetia album. Invocator are hailed as the forefathers of Danish Death Metal, the infamous Esbjerg-scene, and I would humbly like to beg to differ.

The riff that carries this absurd song seems to come from here:

The issue of steel panther is that they can't really go further the spoof and "tribute" to the originals. After that they are a good band and their songs can be also funny

That s not a real issue.
Dream theater created a saga (the alcolist anonymous written by m portnoy) in oder to exploit the same bunch of riffs in several albums. The last episode called the shattered fortress is probably the crappiest piece if music they ever recorded.

0:42-0:48 <----> Start.

:haha:

Iron Fist was done in a hurry, under pressure, they recycled some bits, not an issue, either. Just curious.

The - only - Krokus album that isn't an AC/DC-ripoff, is a ripoff of Motörhead, with a bit of 'Priest thrown in.

A great song indeed, even if the end screaming is very similiar to exciter, I'd put in the category of the "me, I can also do it!"

That's why you can't really hate Krokus, they do some really fine pastiches, and how is it, now, "imitation is the highest form of flattery". They do it blatantly and quite unashamedly, and don't try to sneak stuff in.

some similarities, yes. But Van Halen plays swing eights (triplet feel) and Fates Warning plays straight eights.
Brian Redman: "Mr. Fangio, how do you come so fast?" "More throttle, less brakes...."
