Bottom post of the previous page:

In his autobiography White Line Fever, Lemmy recalls of drummer Taylor tried singing "City Kids" but "he sounded like two cats being stapled together."
Lemmy never lied:

These names didn't catch on, it was like Vic Rattlehead (Megadeth) or Doris (Metallica), they didn't enter Metal "pop culture" in the same manner as the iconic onstage Iron Maiden-dummy "Eddie" did. But it was the same sort of thing. An "extra" band member, a mascot. A trade mark, in a sense.

But, unlike the others, the Joe Petagno-designed "Snaggletooth" actually made it into a song.

This is from No Remorse, which wasn't technically a standard studio album release. They did a fat compilation including new stuff, and Snaggletooth ended up on that. A fast-paced song, like an outtake from Iron Fist, just a damn good one. One of four, but I don't think they did an E.P. with just those on it.

Megadeth made a (very good) song called Rattlehead on their first album

Eddie pulls a fast one, at 3:46. And lets it rip at 4:07. :haha:

And he's right, by the way.

Best song, best line-up, best album, best album cover. That song just executed punk rock, and made them.

The idea mentioned by Eddie about restarting the track 2 times, was used before by Danish-Swedish '70s rockers Gasolin', on their sort of trade mark track Rabalderstræde:

That's got a good groove. A bit Robert Palmer. Also Danish is such a weird language.

Dik Mik of Hawkwind died earlier this month.

http://louderthanwar.com/dik-mik-hawkin ... egend-rip/
He is also remembered as a genuine character, part of the heart and soul of the classic Hawkwind chaos and the man who brought his mate Lemmy into the band because he needed a speed buddy
It's not even a yarn. Lemmy said the same thing in this interview (16:59):

Dik and Lem were the original motorheads.

Hawkwind were shite, and, more significantly, Lemmy was basically a mod and not a rocker.

Hard to believe that Lemmy rolled around on a Vespa or any kind of roller, though

Lambretta Lemmy has a certain ring to it though!

* I started life with nothing, and still have most of it left

* I married Miss Right. Just didn't know her first name was Always

Well, he used to do Kinks covers for a living, and then designer drugs for a larf, so what can you say... Couldn't hang on to enough money to even get a scooter or a hair cut. Do you know why he was called Lemmy?
Philthy Animal Taylor wrote:...and a useless cunt, that's me!
Tho, when you look at it, he generated the whole thing. Sat down all by himself and drummed like not seen since 'Purple's "Fireball", or Keith Moon, and made their breakthru track. All the Spinal Tappish shenanigans are also his legacy. Little punk-ass bastard made them. Excellent fellow. Uproarishly funny. All the good M'head albums had him on drums, and he was in fact The Overphil.

http://ultimateclassicrock.com/phil-taylor-wife-will/ :haha: A joke, even when fucking killed by death..

So, if you can take it, here's not a mondegreen, but a Mö'head latrine, and it is entirely well-deserved, if you ask me. A constant joke of a band.

Overfill!

Image

Only way to fill a toilet’s

When it’s good and loud!

So good I can’t believe it,

Steaming with the ‘kraut!

Don’t sweat it,

Get it out of you!

Don’t sweat it,

Get it out of you!

(thank you!)

Image

Overfill! Overfill! Overfill!

Nah-nah-now!

On your feet, you feel the peeling,

Goes straight to your spine

Shake your head, you must forget it,

It don’t make you blind!

Don’t sweat it,

Get it out of you!

(Hey!)

Don’t sweat it,

Get it out of you!

(Come on!)

Image

Overfill! Overfill! Overfill!

Aaaargh!

(“Fast” Eddie solo)

Now your body’s made to groove,

You feel it in your guts!

Rock and roll ain’t worth a thing,

If it don’t make you strut!

Don’t sweat it,

Get it out of you!

(Hey!)

Don’t sweat it,

Get it out o-of you!

(Whoa!)

Image

Overfill! Overfill! Overfill!

G-g-g… oh no!

Oh, no...!

Come on, come on!
So, there we are, then. :haha:

So, "Fast" Eddie's died of pneumonia.

https://www.billboard.com/articles/colu ... -pneumonia

Ironically, Eddie was the only member of the band to actually have class.

Even though they never reached old age, whatever that is considered to be, nowadays, they in their later years succeeded in retelling all the crazy stories, and all the best ones are from the history of that legendary line-up.
