what about this?
Isn't that Christian Danner during the GP Masters race at Silverstone?
Danner, yes, but at the CART race in Portland in 1997!
No way. That's kinda weird how wrong and right I got it.

Ok, give this one a go! Drivers, cars and circuit are not at all obscure.

That should be that 1951 south american event (Argentina?!) that Mercedes attended with some pre-war drivers and Fangio. Kling, Lang,... ?! Something to do with Peron maybe?

Yep, that's pretty much it!

1951 Eva Peron GP at Buenos Aires. All three of them driving pre-war Mercedes.

Lets say the Interlagos karting circuit (which is now I think named after Senna. It is where he started karting competitively):dunno:
It has to be early 1978 at the latest.... AFAIK the 1978 Word Championships at Le Mans held later in the year is when he first used his green and gold helmet colours that he made iconic.

If it is not there then Tarumã (Go-Kart) Raceway

Trick question, innit? It's "the 20 car", but the driver is about six feet taller than Arturo...

I say Richard Robarts, Anderstorp '74. Why? If I recall correctly, Lil' 'Turo had broken a finger in a sports car race... ?

Its #20 on the engine cover and #2 on the nose! :haha:

James Hunt tested a Williams Iso Marlboro at least once when he was at Hesketh.

Image

He also tested another Williams (FW12?) many years later, some time after he retired, c 1989 when there was 'talk' of him returning. Of course it was only talk....

Oh, that's brill! I DID think the helmut and face looked like Hunt, and I did recall that Robarts normally had a different helmut design, but I never...

Im not going to argue about it being Anderstorp either.... although I know he is said to have tested the Iso at Zandvoort as well. I have also read he tested it at Anderstorp. The pic Paul posted doesnt look like Zandvoort to me.

Oh the pic of him testing the FW12 I posted is at Ricard.
