I guess this could have gone in the Motorsport Photos section, but this is really more about the circuit itself.
Here's an aerial view of the Silverstone circuit, taken sometime in 1949, just after it was announced they would be using the perimeter road as opposed to the runways in the middle.

Hmmmmm..... brilliant circuit in that configuration.... one of my favourites, and Woodcote pre the Scheckter chicane as I have said before was a definate 'testicle test'!
