I have both volumes of the "predecessor", Laurence Pomeroy's The Grand Prix Car dealing with the years up to 1953, if it's any consolation...

Not what I was looking for, but thanks anyway.

Actually if there are any new or interesting facts/stats to be found in either book, I would be interested.
