Bottom post of the previous page:
I'm almost entirely sure that it isn't - but the Sprints are happening next weekend... So how about Leyburn?

Neither Longford nor Leyburn
In fact, not a single one of the letters you used in your guesses is correct.

Well that knocks out Mt Druitt. Also Albany Bunbury and Caversham.
And
@John 's Gnoo Blass

No. But you're close.
Just recently, one photo from the venue was posted in the Crash Photos section. Which also happened to be the very first photo of the track to be posted on here, at least according to the search function.

OK New Zealand?
Matamata has the right letters missing, and I have read something of street car ('Round the Houses') racing happening there before.
Edit: Lots of Zephyr's /Zodiacs in this race (Entry list race 6)It looks like a Ford Zephyr/Zodiac leading in the image.

Just out of interest the Morrari that is listed in that entry list is a (locally) famous car.... not pretty but fitted the 'Allcomers' category well.
It was a Morris Minor body stretched over an old 'barn find' Ferrari chassis and powered by a 327-cubic-inch V8 Chevy/Corvette engine.
The Morrari at Matamata.
Just sayin'.
(I dont know that Matamata is the answer to the quizz or not but the car was interesting, and a typical 'bitza' car of the era. Someone in NZ is currently building a replica of the original Morrari)

Mid-60s Matamata is absolutely correct
Here's some more shots, all of which were posted on Facebook by Ross Cammick. Photos by Sharp-Given Studio Matamata

Just noticed that in the entry list I posted you will see one of the names is F.Radisich.
That is Frank Radisich, father of Paul Radisich who made his name in Touring cars in Europe and also the BTCC which he competed successfully in for most of the nineties, before he moved back down under and raced with Dick Johnson Racing in V8 Supercars for many years until injuries in a frightening crash at Bathurst broke several major bones in his body and was career ending.
He now owns and runs an oil company (Aegis Oil NZ) set up by Father, Frank, in New Zealand and also I think hosts Motor Racing shows on TV in NZ.

My first a idea was a track that is not too far from Matamata. But I've developed some doubts because of the track surface. Hmmm...

Is it an airfield track?
