Bottom post of the previous page:

Looks horrifically dangerous, much better when they installed the rusty armco

Are you being sarcastic? Watkins Glen was hardly a good advert for Armco safety.

Moving on from that..... In @hollie3sa's absence and to keep things moving I will call the Watkins Glen question solved on his behalf.... so @White six that makes it your turn, as the first to answer with Watkins Glen, to post the next 'what circuit' image for us to solve.

No, actually it wasn't that difficult. Zunino drove that car only twice, and there's no grandstand like that at the Glen.

Not a perfect score then, it's not Zunino

I was going to say it is Piquet.
(I dont know why but Piquet wore a white helmet for the race.)
Zunino wore Lauda's helmet in his first session but a blue helmet in the race.
A pic to show Piquet in the #6 with white helmet

Image

And Zunini in the #5 during the race:

Yep, the only F1 race where the tennis ball design was missing. Murray gleefully pronounced 'he's sporting a new all-white helmet design' when actually it was just a new helmet that hadn't yet been painted

That was the clue, I'm going to disallow Michael's answer because he got it by making a mistake. ;)

Zunino also took first practice in Lauda's helmet I believe so it was a weekend of strange helmet shenanigans at Brabham

Technically it is a Guess the circuit quiz, not guess the driver. Michael told us it was Montreal first.

Ahh, so that was it! I thought I remembered Zunino driving with Lauda's helmut, but rejected that idea because I didn't recall Piquet having a one-off! In any case, it's not important - I could've (should've!) said "that car ran only twice in those colours", that's the important bit.

Now, quit sidetracking, and get about guessing the circuit in my picture!
