On a very wild guess I'd say Ramsey Hairpin in the Isle of Man before it became part of the Mountain Course
:D Its the TT allright, 1914 edition. Although the magazine calls it Devils Ellbow, not sure if that is another name for Ramsey. Your turn, here is the rest of the picture set.

Devil's Elbow is about thirty miles from Ramsay, and not part of the Mountain circuit. It's situated on the coastal A4 halfway between Peel and Kirkmichael, and was part of the original Saint Johns Course, run in the opposite direction. I think the 1914 RAC Tourist Trophy bypassed this section, going from Ballacraine to Kirkmichael via the A3. Maybe the picture is older, I can't see it here on my PC at work; maybe I can check when I'm home.

@Michkov
LOL as Michael said above Devil'S Elbow was part of the St John's Course, the first layout a TT ran on.
It is on the beautiful coast road between Peel and Kirk Douglas and mind you sitting in front row on the top deck of a double decker bus is nothing short of exciting ;)
Done it a couple times during the 2017 Manx GP when my mate lured me into marshaling and I had to take the bus from Douglas to Ballaugh's Wild Life Park, ie Quarry Bends. From Ballacraine to Douglas Road Corner in Kirk Michael St John's course follows the path of the Mountain Course but at Douglas Road Corner in Kirk Michael the course turns sharply left, off to Peel. If you google Tynwald Day in the Isle of Man there's often a stretch of road shown which would be the starting straight of St John's Course.
I'll try to find a few clips which include Ballacraine and Douglas Road Corner in Kirk Michael.

Funnily, this stretch was closed past Friday night practice during TT 2018 when an e-bike burnt up near Glen Helen and another at my spot at Wildlife Park. On return to Douglas with the marshals shuttle minibus we had to take said stretch of St John's course, the coast road between Kirk Michael and Peel. And since we had to pick up marshals from Glen Helen, peeling off from Ballacraine, we would be back in paddock at half past 11pm. Usually you are back about 1.5h earlier and next morning I had to be up at 6am for my lift to Lambfell for that days Superbike race :haha:

Into Ballacraine ..... The bike turns right off to Ballig but straight on you'd get to St John's

Douglas Road Corner in Kirk Michael at 0:43 sec in here. Mountain Course peels off through the tunnel that is Kirk Michael but turning left you'd be on the Peel Road ;)

Roughly start line area of St John's Course opposite to Tynwald Hill, gathering place to the oldest continous parliament in the world.
Watch to the end and for the road once the camera swings ;)

Well, the picture's too small to see the car clearly, but it must be thus: a photo from 1907 (I think it was, last time this section was used for the RAC TT) in a preview for the 1914 races. I have another picture of Devil's Elbow, and the stone wall looks the same.

I cant, but I think you are right that the magazine just put some old photos next to the text. The picture show all there is on the TT in the whole issue.
