about an hour later, having lost the lead at the first round of pit stops. Just look at the sunrise coming down the mountain!

That's a heart-warming story, but I am also sad for him, because he sounds like he struggles to get by day-to-day (not physically, but mentally) and all that keeps him going is his kids and a bit of sim racing. Depression and loneliness are both bitches.

Oh, very sad for him. I don't know if you read the story, because I don't think it was mentioned in the video, but his wife also died five years ago. So the poor fella really has it against him.

But it's very cool that online racing and the community around it gives him something extra in his life that he wouldn't otherwise have, and kind of makes him feel like he doesn't have a disability when he's in that world.
