PTRACER dragged me, kicking and screaming, to the free download. Now, my hand is cramped.

No, the Lotus. I've got the bollocks version of the game, but it's still pretty kewl. I need a damn wheel. Ths button pushing is for dorks. I'd really like to try the BRM....Love that noise...

So far, I've caused many incidents. I could use a front wing, really.

Never really played that game. Tried dl a demo once but my steering wheel/pedals wouldn't work with it so I deleted it. I refuse to play with keyboard! :)

I'll get you a copy of the full version of the game.

Try eBay, and get an Act Labs RS Shifter, pedals (including clutch), and a Microsoft Sidewinder wheel with Force Feedback.

1:12.63 is the best I can muster in the Lotus, at the Glen. I got a 1:15.?? in the Eagle, which, in my opinion is a better car, with only a handful of laps. Yipee...

Hey, Warren, that's great! :D

I only could ever manage a 1:07.657...I did that back on the 13th November 2003, when I was really good at keyboarding...not so good now.

The Eagle is not a better car than the Lotus, it may well have a few more horsepower but its heavier than the Lotus and a lot less chuckable. :)

Pulled off a 1:10.19 at the glen. Tricky little bugger, the Brabham is.

Hehe

BTW, Warren, try out the '65 mod for GPL now that you have this demo, which is basically the full sim minus the 10 other tracks that were part of the championship. That's no biggie as you can download most of the other non-championship tracks anyway from http://trackdb.d2g.com/ and those are a lot of fun and more realistically done too. The '65 cars as you know had puny 1.5 litres engines that screamed like banshees but were only 200-250 HP so you could take the Glen esses absolutely flat out. :D Fun, fun!

And once you get a wheel and drive this thing over some of these tracks with it, you'll be hooked so bad you won't believe it. :) Its fantastic!! 8)
