So weird to see Emerson Fittipaldi in this one. He was world champion almost 50 years ago and he never seems to stop being competitive.

The Legends race was fun yesterday, otherwise The Race was missable. It has gotten predictable that a simracing pro is going to sweep those races now, and the format invites sloppy driving.

Indycar's iRacing Challenge was pretty good yesterday:

The universe, look at the hugeness of it... it is a dizzying thought that little ol' me is the centre of it all!***

It's trial and error now at the moment. No one could foresee online racing would be in such a situation, like it is now.

Awesome, just watched both Legends races. How can you argue about a lineup like this?

The F1 2019 race was a farce, but there has been some good stuff! NASCAR on FOX was entertaining on iRacing, and the IndyCar and IMSA events have been quite nice as well.

rFactor 2 has received an all-star race as well and things have picked up in terms of broadcasting, too.

Up here, we had a 6-hour Imola endurance event on CMore Max (the channel that also does F1 broadcasts here), and I got humble 5 hours of lead commentary in. 1 hour break was quite nice, so I could eat something and soothe my voice a bit, ha! And just yesterday, there was a rallycross event on Yle (national broadcasting service) streaming service and their Twitch channel. Two-day, four-race series with the two remaining races next Saturday.

If there is one silver lining to this whole mess, it is that we finally get to show off sim racing to a larger audience, and display that yes, it is realistic and yes, we can provide some excellent broadcasts. :)

This is great, Kevin Swindell, son of the legendary Sammy Swindell, just won the World of Outlaws iRacing race at Knoxville, 5 years ago, Kevin broke L-1 and T-7 vertebrae in a crash at this very track, confining him to a wheelchair.

V8 SC are going all in to create a virtual alternative to the real championship, with all the regular drivers taking part.... also they have the same stewards as the real races, and they judge and penalise as in reality. In fact one race was affected by a last lap contact by De Pasquale, who took as Le Broc but was penalised.

Also all the strategists were at work too, with DJR Team Penske engineer Richard Harris giving McLaughlin fuel numbers to the end of the 18-lap race as SM rolled the dice. Speedcafe.com even ran a live updates service as per a normal race weekend.

They held (2 races) at Phillip Island last night, plus one from Monza. I have not seen it but the media seem to deem it a success.
