I now have Assetto Corsa
And the first thing I tried was a GT86 at Fuji Speedway since I've driven this combo IRL. The real life car is *slightly* less grippy and the kerbs in real life shake the car around so much you don't want to use them. Otherwise everything really does feel exactly the same.
Who else has this game? Any mods you recommend? Is racing the AI worth it?

Had it on my older PC running win7. Always had big shifting troubles with my G25. The H-shifter would not always choose a gear when shifting. 3rd and 4th were mostly problematic. Sequential shifting was horrid too. Using the flippers, would work.
This PC (win10) can't run it. Maybe the onboard GPU is not good enough.

the Seat Leon TCR 2018 mod is awesome also the Ford Transit mod is a good laugh
there is so many fantasy tracks and old tracks so just get as many as you please
me i prefer open road flat out racing tracks

Anyone up for lapping this weekend? This server requires base game Assetto Corsa and Dream Pack 1 DLC, that's the one that contains the Nordschleife track. Optional is SOL (night driving) and Shader Patch for those more used to modding and AC.

I was actually just playing online on one of the open GT3 servers. First time I have been online with a racing game since about 2011...
The top guys are pretty good. But there would only be three or four of those...the rest were n00bs who only wanted to cause mayhem. It was frustrating to qualify on the front row three races in a row, then spend the rest of the time being taken out by people who just wanted to troll....

This game is a neverending hunt for mods - whether it be an obscure track or a long-forgotten car, there's always something I'm trying to look for. I swear it's a disease.
