Bottom post of the previous page:

Maybe we can create an infinite amount of massive crashes from the 1990 Goody’s 300 using NR2003, turning the ai drag into negatives has spectacular consequences as you can see above.

what is better? NR2003 or Nascar Heat 5?

maybe I am wrong, but on tracks like Homestead (which I associate with racing in a high line or a low line), AI only ever takes the line near the apron.

I'm thinking of getting this

but want to make sure AI will be good

looking for the best NASCAR game: immersive and good (single player) racing

Nr2003 is definitely better in terms of racing experience if you ask me, NASCAR Heat 5 is still very arcade like, although it has career, challenges and other modes which NR2003 doesn’t.

let me know your thoughts. I'd like one as well, but my desk is thick (6,3 cm).
can you check how deep it goes?

Sure. I think it's more like 5.1cm, but i'll measure when I get it.

No, only F1 2020 and Gran Turismo Sport - I don't have a PC for running games.

I've only just received it - delivery was delayed. I'll be testing it out tonight with luck, but otherwise maybe tomorrow evening. All depends on timing for baby's feed.

I've used the wheel once so far @Antonov - it's a little noisy, and you can tell the difference between the gear and the belt system used by Fanatec. For the price point I think it's really good though. The USB lead is really short though, and is part of why I haven't been using it - I have to fit it to my dining room table and that's a nuisance.

This site is probably the easiest to navigate and links just about every well known track and mod ever made for NR2003 , along with a Paint Schemes section which provides links to every single car made that has run a race since 2015.
https://nr2k3.weebly.com/

Stunod Racing is also very good, and still has community uploads frequently along with hosting most newer mods
http://stunodracing.net/index.php

I got most of my add-ons from here, although this site also has cars, tracks etc
http://noiseracing.com/utilitiesf/

This site is a much older type version of the first one I mentioned, has alot of things made from 2003-2007, there are some dead links but you can still find some gems here.
http://www.nr2k3tracks.com/

The pandemic in a way has been a blessing in disguise for NR2003, the community had slowly started to die over the past couple of years but it seems lockdowns have brought people back and given them time to make new content.
