Bottom post of the previous page:

Better picture of what work was done on top of the hill at Eau Rouge / Raidillion. Looks like they took out a decent chunk of the embankment at the top. I reckon the old barriers used to be about a metre behind where the darker asphalt starts.

I really like the new grandstand!
But the hype used to get these changes was kind of off-putting. Not sure why they announced they were changing the track (and Eau Rouge) drastically, when it seems like a few minor tweaks were made.

Like posted earlier, Jacky Ickx Corner is changed for the bikes. At several places tarmac is replaced by gravel. At Pouhon and La Source it is visible.

I'm not suggesting they didn't change it at all. Just saying the changes were small in comparison to the press story at the start. Overall, I'm happy with what they did.

I cant remember where I read it but it suggested that Radillon is now faster on exit than it was pre the update. Is that right or have I misunderstood something?

Maybe but that would be down to the kerbs, not the actual changes to the road. The road is unchanged, the only addition is the bike variant for the left after Bruxelles.

Got to say the much wider run down to Eau Rouge takes some getting used to.
