It was on at 4am, so I woke up for the start and went back to sleep again. Crofty raising his voice was enough to wake me back up a few times, but it seems I missed nothing. It was a Max win at least, so 4/10.

9 points. :D I loved it when Bottas opened the door and Max said: "Thank you!!" Great races from Perez, Gasly, Yes a bit orange tainted glasses, but this is the first time i start to have some belief in a WDC of Max.

I gave it a six, it wasn't the most exciting race in that there wasn't much in the way of passing. However, I did cheer when Max made his epic start and it was nice to see Perez finally get a podium at his home race, he deserved it too.

Bottas, well, what can you say? You can bet Toto had plenty to say to him after the race though.

And Lewis was commenting on Bottas' "getting it all totally wrong at T1 and making a hash of his start" Not as in Lewis' plan were his words.

4 but really a 3. Nothing of note at all except opening lap action. Few entertaining passes in the laps after that and then it was snore city. Only reason to watch was to see if Max and RB could keep sticking it to Lewis and Toto. And that seems a very good reason right now.

4 from me too, if I'm judging it objectively. Subjectively I liked seeing Merc struggle. I know they still got second, but that was largely thanks to the circuit, which does not make for particularly great racing.

Here's hoping 2022 cars changes that (I'm saying that a lot, lately.)

I will give it a five. Dramatic pass on the first corner….and then nothing happened until late it the race, when Perez almost threatened Hamilton. Race was more significant than it was entertaining.

This is about how I see it. Start , Finish but a few dices only inbetween.
A generous 5 from me, swung from being a 4 by the passionate locals and atmosphere. And the result.

3.

Aside from turn 1... What happened?

Croft couldn't even muster up a "grandstand finish" statement for Perez, knowing that would never happen.

I always enjoyed this circuit but the racing has been bad. This race was basically done after 1 lap indeed.

Well Hamilton can't always expect to have it his own way, I know it often works out for him but maybe his luck is finally changing ;)

6/10 here.

Solid win for Max. Great to see Perez cop a podium. A shout out to two veterans, Vettel and Party Boy Kimi, for making the top 10.

It was a great crowd. That type of enthusiasm helps makes a weekend.

A seven for me but that's cause I am interested in the WDC battle! Of course Max pulled away quickly but anything can happen if we look at previous races. Of course I had hoped for Perez to become second, but he could not really attack which was a pity for me to see.

4. Worse than average. What was hyped up in my head to be a titanic battle between the championship contenders ended up being a procession. It was not even competitive. Also Perez charge on Hams at the end was just a tire life difference.
Lastly the Bottas factor was taken out at turn 1 along with the Danny Ric factor.
Race was decided on lap 1 and the rest was just going through the motions.
Really a 3 plus 1 point for Perez dad at the end.
