Enjoyment wise alone, it was barely a 3/10. I wanted it to end and it was only 50% completed.

Very forgettable. I too thought it dragged on.
Im feeling generous, so a 3.

1/10. I might as well cheer for Russell next season. Croft having an orgasm on air send it out of the park.

1. The move by Lewis was disgusting. The ass licking of what an amazing drive and win it was sickened me even more.

It was a good race 7 for me.
Quite disappointing to see FIA inconsistency in ham-ver accident.

8. Four teams had drivers in contention for the podiums/wins. Can't remember the last time I saw that.

I gave it a 2, 1 point because I actually got to see it live, the other because they did give Hamilton a penalty, not enough of one, but at least they didn't let him get away scot free, though given the result they may as well have.

This is the kind of thing that puts me off watching F1 if I'm honest.

I gave it an 8, because I'm rating the race, not the steward's performance. We had a lot of action, a long anticipated clash between title contenders, and a late on track pass for the lead.

On the topic of the stewards.. all I can say is I'm glad it wasn't my call to make. It was mostly Hamilton's fault but he was alongside Max, and tried to pull out seemingly at the end. I don't think he did it on purpose, and generally lap one accidents have been branded racing incidents, which I'm all for.

I understand why people called for a harsher penalty.. and I also understand why people are saying it's a racing incident. It feels like the stewards split the difference and now no one's happy.

Surely if the stewards did feel that Lewis was at fault.. they have to give him a harsher penalty than that. But yeah, a very memorable race all in all.

Also, how great is Silverstone? From the Hanger straight right through to Copse, I feel like battles just go on and on - ironically one of the best corners, maggots and Beckett's, are the only spot that breaks this sequence.

5/10 here. And most of that only because Ferrari had a glimmer of a chance of a win to break the Mercedes-Red Bull strangle hold on wins.

As for the Lap01 collision, in assigning fault, imo...

Max = 0%
Lewis = 100%

Wow, the results are all over the place. I think a lot of people have the red mist on. I'm going with a 7. Dynamic opening and controversial crash adds points. Red flag, minus points. Leclerc leading for most of the race was great, some good battles behind, and while Hamilton winning wasn't everyone's cup of tea, it was an incredible fight-back. The crowd added points too.

You're right, it's the most polarising Rate the Race I've seen for a long time.
