Both, please.

Not sure.. but I want to know if we're talking Club banking, Indianapolis banking, Zandvoort banking, etc. If they go steep, it could be quite a fun corner.

They could make it worse by replacing it with another Tilke designed track in the desert, like Losail. Oh wait.

I don't know why F1 keeps going back to Tilke's company, almost half of the circuits are no longer on the F1 calendar, some have gone defunct entirely or stopped holding international races, and half of those that are still on the calendar receive scathing comments year after year from fans. Actually two of them never made it to the calendar and the fans hate them:-

A1 Ring - Went defunct and was only resurrected because Red Bull bought it
Sepang International Circuit - No longer on F1 calendar
Nürburgring - No longer on F1 calendar
Hockenheim - No longer on F1 calendar
Bahrain International Circuit - IN USE
Shanghai International Circuit - IN USE, except for pandemic
Fuji Speedway - No longer on F1 calendar
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya - IN USE and often rated one of the worst of the traditional circuits
Valencia Street Circuit - No longer on F1 calendar + defunct
Yas Marina Circuit - IN USE and often rated as the worst circuit
Korea International Circuit - No longer on F1 calendar + practically defunct
Buddh International Circuit - No longer on F1 calendar
Circuit of the Americas - IN USE
Sochi Autodrom - IN USE and often rated as the worst circuit after Yas Marina
Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez - IN USE
Baku City Circuit - IN USE
Hanoi Street Circuit - Never raced on, defunct
Jeddah Street Circuit - Not yet built, but already cited as being as bad as Yas Marina and Sochi for overtaking

Haven't these three existed long before Tilke was around? Perhaps I can see the last corner re-profiling on the Catalunya track being a Tilke thing. But from what I can tell the Fuji and Nurburg tracks have been around since the early 80s and every corner on the Catalunya track except the last one since then also.

Fuji was completely redesigned by him in the mid-2000s.

True about Catalunya but it was just an additional excuse to have a dig at him. He was given the task of improving the circuit and did a terrible job.

to be fair, the original circuit would definitely be defunct by now without the redesign by tilke.

about Fuji, were the changes really only done to get F1 back? i doubt the previous layout would still be in use today due safety reasons.
