Really sweet race! Max coming from so far behind to trounce Mercedes. Best French GP I have seen on this circuit.
Now, do I give it an 8 or 9?

5/10.
There were some passes into the Mistral chicane. I'm not really that high on races where tyre strategy becomes the biggest talking point especially when it was obvious the faster car is chasing the slower one and the only question is whether there will be enough laps left to pull off the winning move. Max breezed past Hamilton in the end. Zero battle there.

Tempted to give it an 8 because Lewis / Merc getting soundly beaten like this does provide additional delight but I'll go with 7.

I said some time ago that whenever Hamilton would be on podium, the race would get a 1 from me. This still applies, but as it was fairly enjoyable, I'll refrain from voting.

So, if Hamilton wasn't on the podium, what would you rate it?

Solid race without any specific memorable incident, means I'll give this an 8. It was good, and it kept my attention throughout the whole race. Tempted to give it a 9 because we got to see Hammy come in second.. but I'll resist.
Oh god, the post-race band might take it down to a 7..

Probably 7. Depends on why Hamilton would be off podium though; say a last lap engine blowup and massive amounts of whining would likely raise the score to 10.

Stuck between 7 and 8 but felt kind and gave it El Ocho.
For those who use this vote as a giant piss take, why a) bother voting, and since everything sucks, b) bother watching the sport?

Can’t stand these ultra slow races. It’s pointless. Pirelli screws the racing. Softs were overheating, medium graining, hard were not lasting. At least Hamilton did not win at that embarassing pace. A 6 only because verstappen win gave me a little hope

I will give it an 8. The race was a 6, plus 1 for Lewis losing the win on the last lap, and another 1 for his "The Honda engines are too quick down the straights for us".

No vote. As is not particularly unusual, I fell asleep before half distance and woke only to see Max being handed the trophy on the top step.

It was a good race. I don't understand why Mercedes fans are so angry. I root against the Mercs as much as the next guy, but this happens every year... We all get excited that this might be the year we have a new champ, and Lewis always waltzes in at the end.

7. Good race. The rest of the field was way back behind the top four though. In the end it was a two-man fight for first and the two-man fight for third. Driver of the race kind of has to be Norris, as he did not miss the first turn of the race.

They did suck. Not sure why, it looked like a military band. They are usually pretty tight.
