It was a solid 7 before, the decision to restart dropped it to 6 but the final two laps added a +2 to it so 8/10 for me!
It was a totally above average race and I enjoyed every moment. I think this season is really shaping up nicely.

9/10. Would've been a 1 if Lewis had a podium, but that was just beautiful.

4/10.
Race was boring as hell for most part. Without Verstappen's tyre failure and the late shitshow it would have been a 2.

I would have given it a 5 before the restart, but a bonus 2 points for Lewis, 1 each for him firing up the escape road on the restart and another for him being beaten to the flag by Mazepin. Plus a point for Kimi getting his name on the scorecard. So an 8.

7 from me.
It was unusually dull compared to previous Baku races. Don't know why this year. Tires? Aero/following issues? There are normally way more passes than that in past years. Although the score does not reflect this.
But positives are that we did get a pass for the lead. We got some brilliant pit strategy (Gasly pitting with Lewis seems like it was called by the RedBull team rather than AT). We had brilliant driving by Vettel, Perez, and Gasly. Some nice passing on the restarts in the midfield. and +2 for an unusual podium with the usual suspects not finishing in the points (VER, HAM, BOT all outside the points).

This was easily the second best Baku race after the crazy 2017 edition. The others were unusually dull, even when quali was not.

A solid 7. Would have preferred more action at the front. The restart was good but fake. Good overall race outcome.

Hmmm..
Maybe rose tinted glasses for me? I seem to recall them usually being a good race.

2017 race - 10's, 9's, 8s (this was the best): http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/forums/vi ... 17&t=14975
2018 race - mostly 7s and 8s: http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/forums/vi ... 17&t=15478
2019 race - this was a dull one : http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/forums/vi ... 17&t=16027
So I'm not that far off. It's just last year that was bad. The previous 2 were one of the highest rated races of the year.
