-10 for Leclerc
- 10 for the dull race
+ 1 for every entitled radio call Lewis made
"How have I lost two positions" ... No Lewis, you lost one, to Vettel. Gasly was always ahead of you.
9!
I can remember, back in his McLaren days, when you were quite a fan of the boy from Stevenage. Took you a while but you saw the light .
He's just changed so much. The bullshit on the radio about how his tyres are gone EVERY race, writing a narrative that his idiot fans buy into (Only Lewis could make a ruined set of tyres work for so long and still set fastest lap with them!!!)
The way that he cries he wants competition, yet accepts his lapdog teammate every season, and the team protests anybody who comes near them despite having not broken the rules.
The Ferrari engine never broke the rules. The red bull bends don't break the rules. PROTEST, SLOW THEM DOWN.
I don't know where the source of dislike is tbh. It could be the hypocrisy of Lewis and the team, but it's more likely to be his idiot fans who just don't understand the sport, refusing to accept any other viewpoint except only Lewis could do what he does.

I posted this in HAM's topic, but i can post it here too.
The Monaco weekend started with Hamilton saying he had "done well" to avoid colliding with Verstappen in their wheel-to-wheel battles in the first four races of the season, and that the younger man "feels he perhaps has a lot to prove".
Max:
"Actions always speak louder than words; that is a good lesson after this weekend," Verstappen said. "You have to talk on the track. That's what I like. As a team, so far we have made the smallest mistakes. That is why we are ahead. I hope we can keep that going for the rest of the season."
Hamilton's response to all this?
"I'm not playing mind games," he said. "They did a great job this weekend and that's that. There are 17 races to go. I'm not going to get into a war of words. It's childish."
Hamilton is playing mindgames since the moment he entered F1.
Hungarian GP in 2007 where he broke the team rules, causing Alonso to react with blocking him for just enough seconds in the pits. He tried it with Jenson who was completely indifferent in that. Then he went on with Rosberg.
Brian Redman: "Mr. Fangio, how do you come so fast?" "More throttle, less brakes...."

Wow, wow, wow. Hold up, man.
Not cool. NOT COOL.
How can you expect Lewis to know math with the educational hardship he faced growing up? It's not easy learning when needing to travel between an astroturfed ground, tennis courts, sports hall, two full size pitches, and a recording studio between classes.

4. While the order that was different from usual (Ferrari's, Seb, Hamiliton in the midfield) made it a bit interesting. I was hugely disappointed with the lack of on-track action. It seemed that no-one even attempted a pass. The closest we got to a pass was when Vettel came out of his pitstop and caught Gasly up the hill.
I was also disappointed at the. TV coverage..... I know Monaco have their unique TV deal whereby they use the local TV company to produce the footage as opposed to the F1 production company used elsewhere but the fact they missed so much of the little action that was happening.... one in particular was when I think Lewis was making his first stop, they chose to cut to a. replay of Lance Stroll missing the chicane. There were other very ordinary broadcasting faff us.
Am I being over critical or did others feel the coverage was average.

I have seen it reported that this weekend was the second youngest podium ever.
In actual fact it is the third but still, given one was the quite (relatively) elderly Sainz ..... The 2nd eldest podium is in fact just two days younger than the weekend.
For info these are the ten youngest podiums in order....
1 Brazil 2019 23y 08m 13d (Max, Ghasly and Sainz)
2 Italy 2008 23y 11m 16d (Vettel Kovalainen and Kubica)
3 Monaco 2021 23y 11m 18d. (Max, Lando and Carlos)
4 Italy 2020 24y 01m 24d. (Gasly Sainz and Stroll)
5 Austria 2019 24y 05m 06d. (Max Leclerc and Bottas)
6 Germany 2008 24y 07m 01d (Hamilton Piquet Jnr and Massa)
7 Hungary 2003 24y 07m 13d (Alonso Kimi and JPM)
8 Monaco 2008 24y 07m 21d (Hamilton Kubica and Massa)
9 Singapore 2008 24y 08m 17d (Alonso Rosberg and Hamilton)
10 Spain 2007 24y 08m 22d. (Massa Hamilton and Alonso)

I gave it an 8. Not because it was a great race, but I did watch it, well some of it. I felt awful for Leclerc not being able to start, and for Bottas with his pit issue. I still can't believe it was his fault but whatever.
I did enjoy seeing Vettel actually looking something like he used to and putting in both a great drive and a great pass. I also loved seeing a podium with no Mercedes for a change. A nice drive by Max and now he leads the championship. If he wins it, will Hamilton still be racing for Mercedes in 2022?
It was boring as hell. Not even someone pulling a dumb crash to cause a SC.
Looking at all the action during F2 it's obvious the F1 aero rules are a massive problem and people calling for various layout changes at different tracks are totally wrong.

I am wondering how many of us in here are really evaluating Monaco race. To explain what I mean, I think as long as we race in the Muncipality of Monaco, I am comparing latest race just to the past, because once I start comparing it to Spa or Suzuka, then 2 points seems justified. At best I am thinking maybe city races should have their own index, otherwise it doesn't make sense to me to cry over spilt milk. @caneparo is probably right questioning compatibility of current racers with the street track. As stated earlier, I've voted 6, because race was not totally dead in midfield, and in terms of typical Monaco race, it was an iota above average for me. Max von, but made LH cry, sweet sounds of karma.

Another problem is that the F1 cars are not equal. Its not a spec series. Unlike Indycar, F2, F3, Nascar (yes!).

Yea, I'll never understand why spec series are compared to F1. However, the fact remains that F1 needs to work on its aerodynamics. The 2017 regulations update made the problem even worse, with even more downforce. It was like dousing fire with gasoline instead of water. Plus, the cars are so huge now, that the drivers have less room to work with on any given track, least of all Monaco.
