I gave it a very generous 5 because for a while it was fun.... it then became a predictable procession. Even the DRS trains didnt work because they all had it.

I gave it a 7 and felt I wasn't being fair. It should have been an 8. Lost one point due to lack of battles elsewhere and because Max didn't win. But it was not predictable.

A 7. This was actually a decent race, not an exciting one, but a decent use of differing strategies.

4/10. Only because of strategy and the suspense.

It was a better race than Portimao.

I mentioned that it was all too easy for Hamilton..... my next post was that we were not even mid race yet. There was only going to be one winner bar mechanical issues, one Mercedes had out stooged Red Bull with their strategy keeping Lewis out whilst Max used his fresh tyres up.

Although in the second half I did at one stage say that it might not be over yet. And then Lewis clicked it into overdrive.

Same as PT but I'm feeling generous so an 8. When it came down to it the overtake for the lead was a bit anticlimactic, else I found it quite entertaining.

Wow, the votes so far are all over the place.

I gave it a 6, because it was better than I thought it would be. It was ultimately a strategy race. It wasn't boring, and kept a level of interest. But Hamilton walked it home in the end.

7 I agree. Better than Portmao. However, the final pass was a bit of a letdown. I guess because he had no tires to fight with anymore? But Max was putting up a great defense right before Lewis's second stop.
Also noted that Ricciardo had a decent race (but not spectacular). Is he finally learning the ins-n-outs of the McLaren?

Saw some headline about DAAAAN saying he'd made a 'mini breakthrough'. So arguably, now he's out of excuses in the future if it goes wrong.

But he outqualified Lando and was half a minute up the road with neither of them having any trouble. So good result.

Even if it was above the average spanish gp, it was nothing special. Hamilton took it easily but i am disappointed verstappen and red bull suffered passively the undercut.they could evaluate other strategies...undercut themselves. But probably Hamilton looked totally in control of the race since the beginning. Another big slap in the face to Verstappen

Gone with a 6, probably a 6.5. Liked the chase down by Hamilton, even though he came out on top. Both Ham and Ver wheel to wheel for the 4th race in a row. This is the best start to a season in a long time.
