With each race I see Merc improving its pace compared to RBR. Won’t be long before we go back to 2020.

Observation: Of the six teams that has one experienced driver and one new driver to the team, in all six cases, the experienced driver was faster than the new guy. This has seemed to be the pattern for the first two races of the season.

A few observations:
1. For FP2 this new drivers on 4 of 6 teams were faster then their teammate. We shall see if this holds up during qualifying.
2. Latifi is so bad that he listed in the last two places. I assume the other tail ender is Mazepin.
3. FP 2 is not faster than FP1.
4. Most of the cars ran on medium tires this session.

I LOL’ed.
Well we have grass and gravel here which is always a relief. Oh and we have inclines too. But don’t worry, we’ll progress to the next batch of Tilkedromes soon.

Hehehe in fact yes the other tail ender was Mazepin.... 8 tenths slower than Latifi and over a second shy of Schumacher.
@Ruslan thanks for posting the times etc.... I had friends for dinner last night and so did not get to watch any of practice or even check what was going on until this morning.

Interesting to see Alpine higher up in FP2. Probably a false dawn though.
