I skipped any time I saw them on screen. I'm really disappointed by how little of the Melbourne build up and behind the scenes politics.

Only seen 1 so far, but yes, seems to be straight into Austria action.

Not even any reaction to hammy's kaboom interview pronouncement, which was very good tbf

I skipped through a lot of Episode 1 as well. Somehow it was just...boring?

This is it. I don't care about a puff piece talking up the Strolls, and I don't care about the pink Mercedes controversy. It was barely anything really.

As above, I really wanted to see more of the teams discussions, the drivers feelings about it, but instead we only saw Ricciardo mention it to his mum on the phone, and Lando/Carlos because it was McLaren centric.

Are we supposed to believe that none of the McLaren mechanics were overheard talking about it, or that the drivers didn't speak to others? What about the FIA briefings?

There should have been a wealth of information, but it screams to me that F1 was doing and saying some very wrong things, and they've worked to exclude it.

Could have at least had Burton saying that Hammy had blown everyone out of the water, didn't even get that

Watched the first episode. Avoiding the temptation to "binge watch" the thing.

First episode was kind of dull, but then as serious F1 fans we kind of know all the stories and wrinkles behind it. So this is somewhat of the recap for us. I think they did miss an opportunity to really do up and properly address the coronavirus story.

On the other hand, I do know a couple of teenagers who are not big F1 fans who are watching it. They really liked the first two seasons. They may yet become F1 fans.

I hear what you say about binge watching.... I watched the first three episodes back to back and must admit that bt the end of episode 3 my attention had waned and I could not really now tell you what the message was.... it came across as a bit more of the first two episodes. I will have to re-watch episode 3 to remind myself in more detail..

You forget how close Albon was to winning in Austria. How did it go so wrong

Yea, I also kind of forgot how truly dramatic the first race was.

Watched up through Episode III right now. The show is still a little flat. I am not as happy with it as I was for the last two seasons. A few reasons for that:

1. They underplayed the drama of the first race cancellation at Australia.
2. They underplayed the drama of the coronavirus, the cancelled scheduled, the teams in a panic.
3. The underplayed the drama of the Pink Mercedes, which was a much bigger issue than they make it.
4. They focused on the top teams first.

Now, had a discussion with a teenager last night who has watched the first four episodes...he disagreed with me completely.

It strikes me as being more entertainment than reality.
Im certainly not champing at the bit to watch more at this stage.

I can't get past the reordering of the races.. I find it really jarring.

I wish the order was races from the 1980s first ;)
