Announcements of any new features or alternations to the forum will be posted here. This is the place to submit any problems you have or suggestions on how to improve the forum.
Okay. This concerns the guys who use the AllanStyle_SUBSILVER theme.
1. For ease, I have renamed it subsilver2.5
2. I have now moved the profile from the right to the left hand side. If there is ANYTHING that looks odd format-wise, you will need to clear your cookies. Chrome users especially.
3. If you use a mobile device, like an iPad or iPhone, with subsilver2.5, please test it. Again, if you notice anything odd, please let me know.
4. For those who want a 100% authentic subsilver experience, then choose the Legacy theme instead. Please note that it isn't compatible with any forum modications. This means no chat, no mention system, no automatic image resizing. It's a totally basic theme for old computers.
This will mainly concern: @Tom, @DoubleFart, @John and @Greg. I don't think anyone else is using either of the two subsilver themes.

I use the subsilver 2.5 theme.
Is it all okay?
------------------------------
I've finally re-added the "Relative Dates" extension, which now shows posts as " x minutes / hours / days / weeks ago" rather than "Sat 03 Apr 2017". If you want to know what the actual date and time of a post was, hover over the "x minutes ago" with your mouse.
I'm glad @erwin greven . I'm going to be honest, until the upgrade I was beginning to have the same slowdowns you used to have. The forum simply wouldn't load sometimes. I don't seem to have that problem anymore.

I use it too and it all works fine for me, albeit no 'Thanks/Like' button, though I think that is a general forum thing now.
The Thanks button still hasn't been released as a Final version at phpbb.com yet and has compatibility issues with some of the extensions I use. I also feel like I want to distance myself from Facebook-like functions that discourage people from posting.
Ever since the change I get a message from time to time that the site is not responding because of a "long running script".

I felt like such a hipster saying that, but... I like that browser.
Anyway, I like it! The colours are great, very clean and modern. Fits the dark theme on browsers quite handily. Only downside currently is that the user information bar has moved to the right. I will adapt one day, I swear. Hopefully they release a lefty version of that ASAP. Yes, a minor issue, but something that I find hard to get used to after over a decade of it being on the left.

any page but I feel it's most prevalent on those topics with a lot of content, Music, Videos etc.

Probably the stupid plugins trying to load, especially if it's Youtobe.
I am very sorry if you find my posts long and boring, I like to type and often go off on a tangent.
If this is the case, you may click here to solve the problem, or alternatively here too.
