Any budding writers out there?

I'm very much interested in getting our Articles section of the website up and running again and I've posted some articles over the past few months.

I don't care what people want to write about for now: A driver profile, a race review, your experiences of being at an event, or driving a race car, or perhaps a Top 10 or Top 5 of something. You know, best F1 races since 2000, worst backmarker Grand Prix teams, dumbest moments, greatest one-time victories. Anything. You can use the forum for your research; create a poll and ask people to vote.

Any willing participants?

I would but I don't think I can write that good but I can make up lists like
Top 5 One Time Victories in NASCAR
Top 10 Worst Crashes in the French Grand Prix (Non-Fatal)
And some more

Clark, Stewart, Hill, Hulme and the rest of the late 60s early 70s grid. Also Alberto Ascari tried his hands at it if my memory doesn't fail me at the moment.

He hasn't qualified yet. (Although I hope he does)

A less honourable mention would be Clay Regazzoni who said how easy Indy was. Until he crashed.

I haven't heard that before. I also realised looking through the pictures that he didn't only have the one crash: http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk/forums/vi ... ni#p307007

Excellent, thank you! I've given you the rank of Contributor on the site, are you able to access the Dashboard? (Either the toolbar at the top of the page here: http://www.the-fastlane.co.uk, or if there isn't one, then in the bottom right hand corner.)

Good stuff! I see you already have a draft started

Some things the article will need before it is submitted:

- An excerpt briefly (<30 words) detailing your intentions for the article.
- A 'Featured Image'. Minimum 800 pixels wide.
- A suggested category. I'll plop it into 'Motorsport' naturally anyway, but if there is a sub-category that is relevant, I will probably need to create it.

The article is finished, actually. It is something I wrote about a month ago. I'll start writing original stories when the college semester ends in two weeks, but for right now I'd like to give you all a taste of what my writing style is like.

I do require a new sub-category, 'ARCA'.

Very nicely done Seibara!

I have made some minor corrections to the format (mostly how the images are arranged on the page), but otherwise a very good article. I look forward to seeing more in the future  (And if anyone else wants to jump on the bandwagon, feel free)
